Veterinary Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to assist the Vets and Nurses to deliver the highest standards of patient care. The candidate must have previous experience in a veterinary practice and ideally hold a VCA qualification.

Please note, we are not currently able to offer any student nurse placements.

Working hours are 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (between 08:00am and 19:30pm).

No bank holidays, on call or OOH.

Salary dependent on experience.

About us:

We are a busy, independent, small animal first opinion practice based in Grays, Essex. Our fantastic team consists of 5 full time Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Part time Veterinary surgeon, 6 full time and 3 part time Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student nurse, 3 VCA\'s and a wonderful reception team that run the show We are RCVS Accredited and also hold a ISFM Silver award for Cat friendly Clinic. We are fully equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental equipment, in-house laboratory, surgical theatre and a comfortable staff room. We also have a separate cat & small animal ward and theatre.
