About the Role

Our client is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Sports Development Coach to inspire and guide young athletes in Randburg . This role focuses on developing fundamental sports skills, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among children and adolescents. You will plan and lead engaging training sessions, manage teams, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in coaching youth sports, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for positive youth development through athletics.

Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality coaching sessions for various youth sports. Develop athletes' technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness. Instill values of teamwork, discipline, respect, and fair play in all participants. Manage team logistics, including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding player progress and team activities. Ensure a safe and positive sporting environment for all young athletes in Randburg . Requirements Previous experience coaching youth sports at a competitive or developmental level. Strong knowledge of sports-specific training principles and techniques. Excellent communication, motivational, and conflict-resolution skills. A recognized coaching qualification (e.g., SAFA, Cricket South Africa) is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
