Web Developer | Banking Exp | Hybrid (Contractual)

We are looking for a Web/Frontend Developer to enhance existing features and develop new capabilities for our online web application. The role will focus on building responsive, high-quality user interfaces and integrating frontend applications with backend systems through REST APIs. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate user stories and business requirements into functional web applications.

  • Design, develop, and enhance responsive web features and user interfaces.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other engineers to deliver seamless digital products.

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code within project timelines.

  • Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs.

  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and technical issues.

  • Maintain code quality, organization, documentation, and development automation.

  • Write and execute unit tests to ensure application functionality and reliability.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.js.

  • Experience with Jest and React Testing Library.

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, microservices, and system integration.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and continuous integration/deployment practices.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to independently learn new technologies and concepts.

  • Strong commitment to continuously improving technical skills and development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js.

  • Background or exposure in backend and/or mobile application development.

  • Experience with Cloud-Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservice Architecture.

  • Strong accountability, adaptability, critical thinking, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
