About the Role Our client, a leading online retailer, is seeking diligent and efficient Warehouse Pickers and Packers to join their busy fulfillment center in Randburg, Gauteng . This role is fundamental to ensuring orders are accurately and promptly prepared for dispatch. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a strong work ethic. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to begin or advance your career in the logistics sector. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying specified items, and preparing them for shipment according to strict guidelines. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is also a key aspect of this role. You will work as part of a dedicated team to meet daily order fulfillment targets, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The position requires focus and accuracy to minimize errors and ensure high-quality output. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves according to order lists. Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring product protection. Verify order details against picked items to ensure accuracy. Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as required. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of incoming goods. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly. Participate in inventory counts as needed. Requirements Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift items (up to X kg). Team player with a positive attitude. Reliable and punctual. Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting. Must be able to work on-site in Randburg, Gauteng .
