About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecom Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee critical network build and deployment projects in the Benoni area. This role is pivotal in ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven project manager to lead significant initiatives within a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of telecom infrastructure projects , from initiation to completion. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Communicate project status, key milestones, and challenges to stakeholders regularly. Requirements Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong focus on telecommunications infrastructure projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Solid understanding of network infrastructure deployment, including fiber optics, wireless, and data centers. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira). PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
