Key Responsibilities Lead a team in the Capitec Direct Department to ensure effective selling of the various Capitec product and services in agreed set targets (via virtual channels). Requirements Experience Minimum: More than 2 years working experience in Capitec. Leading people to achieve goals and targets such as in services, sales, and customer facing organisations. Ideal: Previous management or supervisory experience of leading a sales team. Experience in sales/credit/fraud environments would be an added advantage or Contact centre experience. Capitec Bank products and procedures Qualifications (Minimum) Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Diploma in Business Management or Commerce Knowledge Minimum: Understanding of banking or financial principles and environment Leadership and people management principles Business performance drivers at this level Retail/consumer service environment Banking products and services Business Processes (Marketing/ Financial Management/ Human Resource Management) Basic telesales techniques and methods Sales principles and techniques Basic calculations Ideal: Capitec Bank policies, including: Disciplinary code and procedures KPA procedures and policies Adherence policies Online and cell phone banking process and technical frameworks (role specific) Capitec banking system Client relationship principles and environment Working knowledge of legislation relevant to banking environment (i.a.FICA, National Credit Act (NCA), Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI), Credit Granting Policy (CGP) (role specific) Skills Communications Skills Problem solving skills Leadership Skills Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) Attention to Detail Conditions of Employment Clear criminal and credit record Remuneration & Benefits Capitec is committed to diversity and, where feasible, all appointments will support the achievement of our employment equity goals.
