Talent Acquisition Specialist (Portuguese Speaking)

Job Purpose

Manage end-to-end, high-volume recruitment while partnering closely with hiring managers, senior managers and executives. The role requires a professional, relationship-focused recruiter who is fluent in Portuguese and can operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies.
  • Partner with managers and executives to understand hiring requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder and candidate relationships.
  • Manage bulk, fast-paced recruitment while maintaining quality.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, headhunting, networking, referrals and social media.
  • Recruit across sales, relationship management, business development and other client-facing roles.
  • Conduct candidate screening, shortlisting and interview coordination.
  • Communicate professionally with Portuguese-speaking candidates and stakeholders.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and recruitment pipelines.
  • Track recruitment activity and recruitment metrics.
  • Continuously improve sourcing and recruitment processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality, compliance and best recruitment practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • Fluent Portuguese and English – written and spoken (non-negotiable).
  • Tertiary qualification
  • 2–5 years' Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience (agency or in-house).
  • Sales, relationship management or client-facing recruitment experience advantageous.
  • Experience in high-volume / bulk recruitment.
  • Proven ability to work with managers and executives.
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience with ATS/recruitment technology.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong work ethic, accountability and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, results-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong alignment with Karooooo / Cartrack values: customer excellence, accountability, urgency and performance.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rosebank, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
