Amazon is hiring Strategic Accounts Managers who are self-motivated, results-driven and capable of working in a dynamic fast paced environment.

As a Strategic Account Manager you will partner with strategic sellers, sales and product teams, to grow sellers’ businesses on Amazon including identifying opportunities to maximize selection, driving feature adoption, monitoring seller’s healthy growth, performance, product quality, as well as working with sellers to achieve our standards and deliver the best e-commerce experience for customers on Amazon.

You are responsible for delivering business growth and maximizing revenue generation across selected product families. Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment, you will have full responsibility for delivering business and financial objectives.

Key job responsibilities
Manage numerous key business opportunities concurrently
Build your own pipeline of opportunities, identifying high sales growth potential sellers
Develop long-term relationships with sellers, support them in the integration of their offers and develop ambitious goals for future growth prospects.
Achieve business and financial objectives and drive the growth of Amazon’s third-party business in selected categories
Identify opportunities to improve the business for all sellers through scalable solutions and manage the roll-out of these solutions
Conduct deep dives to understand root causes of seller performance and actions to accelerate growth
Work closely with cross functional teams to identify growth opportunities
Identify and manage projects to improve customer and seller experience, working closely with internal and external teams


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 6+ years of equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields
  • Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication management
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and working cross-functionally
  • Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
