Salary: £50,135 SM Development - £55,301 SM Competent B + FDS (when qualified)

Becoming a Station Manager involves working between Response Assurance and Professional Standards to assist in the development, definition, implementation and assurance of Good in operational response and beyond, as well as leading and supporting opportunities to identify learning (investigations and debriefing).
What you’ll do
- Demonstrate effective leadership, promote excellent customer service and empower others to deliver the same.
- Engage with stakeholders and teams to identify and understand best practise.
- Develop and refine definitions of “Good” across all incident types, creating standards and ensuring that the content is delivered appropriately to enable consistent delivery of good service.
- Develop the existing assurance capability to ensure that we are measuring and reporting the right things to drive performance improvements.
- Monitor data to identify trends and areas to identify and deliver improvements.
- Assist with the planning and programming of exercises and training events.
- Assist with the delivery of learning activities including investigations and debriefing.
What you’ll bring / Qualifications
- Be a substantive Station Manager looking for a sideways move.
- Be a substantive Watch Manager ready for your next promotion and be signed off as Emerging or Advancing Talent in the latest TBR.
