Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment cycle for engineering positions, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and mining engineering. Source, screen, and interview engineering candidates, assessing technical skills and cultural fit. Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering hiring managers and clients. Utilize various sourcing tools and techniques, including specialized job boards, professional networks, and LinkedIn, to find qualified candidates. Build and nurture a strong network of engineering professionals in the North West region and beyond. Conduct market research on engineering salaries, industry trends, and talent availability. Negotiate offers of employment and facilitate the onboarding process for successful candidates. Understand the specific technical requirements and project demands of our clients in the engineering sector. Provide market insights and advice to clients on talent acquisition strategies. Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with a significant focus on placing engineering professionals. Proven track record of success in recruiting for various engineering disciplines. Strong understanding of the engineering job market, particularly within South Africa. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with technical professionals and understand their career aspirations. Experience with various sourcing strategies for hard-to-find technical skills. Proficiency in using recruitment databases and ATS. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
