POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a strategic, creative, and hands-on Social Media specialist. This is a fractional, fully remote role, well-suited to someone who has a few hours a day to offer

Based in SA, the target audience is UK based caregivers and care seekers.

Strategy & Planning

  • Implement and manage monthly social media content calendars
  • Build platform-specific strategies aligned with client objectives, in prtnership with our Developent team.
  • Develop strategies focused on brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and follower growth.
  • Identify content opportunities using current trends, audience insights, and performance data. UK
  • Balance localised audience growth with performance-driven lead-generation strategies.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on campaign performance and client objectives.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write engaging, compelling, and brand-aligned social media captions.
  • Develop creative content concepts across multiple platforms.
  • Create short-form video content forReels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Edit video content specifically for mobile-first social media consumption.
  • Coordinate or execute basic graphic design when required.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all client accounts.

Client Communication & Performance Management

  • Lead social media strategy discussions and content alignment meetings.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including engagement, reach, follower growth, leads, and conversions.
  • Analyse campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content, engagement, audience growth, and lead generation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong short-form video editing skills, preferably with mobile-first content.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing social media growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding of localized audience growth tactics.
  • Demonstrated experience generating leads through social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-management abilities.
  • Experience sourcing influencers and managing influencer campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media performance metrics.
  • Basic understanding ofGoogle Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Highly proficient inGoogle Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Experience with Dropbox and the ability to quickly learn new software and platforms.

Additional Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience managing social media
