Site Supervisor
LOCATION Head Office - Sandton
JOB SUMMARY:
You will be working to make the world of one of the largest global organisations safe, conducting patrols, searches, team leadership and delivering - at all times - outstanding customer service to our client and their employees.Responsibilities:
- Leading the onsite security team, the Team lead will fully and satisfactorily complete and delegate duties on site which include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and guide new and experience colleague to ensure their knowledge and understanding is at the appropriate level
- Ensure employees have received the necessary and appropriate comprehensive training required to operate safely and meet requirements
- Maintain and verify that employees have access to the necessary tools, equipment and information required to perform their duties
- Ensure onsite incidents are responded to and reported effeciently and accurately
- Manage administrative duties onsite (such as completing logs, incident reports, etc.)
- Support and maintain lines of communication between security officers, the client and Branch Manager. (Security Supervisor and/or Branch Manager)
- Ensure real time onsite situations and incidents (such as alarms, evacuations, first aid calls, etc.) are managed and handled in accordance with policies and procedures
- Assist management with ad-hoc requests
- Ensure site documentation is maintained and up to date at all times
- Provide consistently high levels of customer service
- Complete continuous training and development activities
- Seek to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new ways of working to site management

Qualifications
- Matric – Grade 12 compulsory
- Registered applicable PRISA GRADE A Certificate
- Must be computer literate
- Knowledge on CCTV
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the private security industry
- Ability to work with integrity whilst unsupervised
- Knowledge of access control software
- knowledge of Microsoft office
- Strong general IT ability
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Proactive approach to all activities
- Desire and ability to learn, progress and grow within the organisation
- Experience working within the corporate security sector
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand additional languages
- Experience managing or assisting to manage a team within the corporate security sector
- Flexible availability
- Security licence (as applicable to local laws PSIRA GRADE A)
