The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking native or fluent Singlish speakers with strong English writing and editing skills for an AI chatbot training project. Singlish is an English-based creole spoken in Singapore, combining English with influences from Malay, Hokkien, Cantonese, Tamil, and other local languages.

You will help ensure that AI-generated text reflects natural Singlish usage while remaining clear and appropriate for the context. The work requires sensitivity to Singlish grammar, vocabulary, structure, and expressive particles such as “lah,” “leh,” and “hor.”

What You'll Do

You will assess chatbot responses for how accurately and naturally they use Singlish. You will also make corrections and improvements so responses sound authentic without losing clarity.

Because Singlish differs from standard English in grammar and expression, you will help the AI distinguish between formal English and the language patterns used in natural Singaporean communication.
