Pay & Hours:

We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 for a 20-hour workweek, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.

Job Role:

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items in line with company standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.

You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervise the team, grow the business through increasing sales, controlling costs, and building customer loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
  • Receive and check daily deliveries.
  • Assist with stock management and produce.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge.
  • Prepare food according to specifications.
  • Ensure food and produce quality control.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Work efficiently within a team.
  • Handle cash and operate tills.
  • Open or close the shop when required.
  • Manage shifts at various times.
  • Drive sales and minimize wastage.
  • Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
  • Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
