Shop Assistant- Pick n Pay Dainfern Square

An exciting opportunity at Faithful to Nature has become available for a Shop Assistant in our Pick n Pay Dainfern Square Store.


The successful candidate will have strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.


Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Scope of Responsibilities


  • Contributes to store sales and profitability through effective customer service.
  • Responsible for meeting set personable sales objectives as well as for projecting the company’s vision and mission statement and image through effective visual presentation and housekeeping duties.
  • Assisting with the protection of company assets by following proper merchandising store system procedures is a top priority for this position and is approached with a concise training programme focusing on all aspects of store policies and procedures.
  • Communication and feedback vital for an effective and successful store operation.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Customer Service


  • Uphold Company brand and standards at all times
  • Define and uphold Store in store objectives to meet company vision and mission
  • Drive store sales to achieve targets
  • Meet the highest standards of customer service excellence as per company guidelines
  • Encourage multiple Sales
  • Have expert product knowledge of all products
  • Maintain market trends and ensure that team member (s) are utilizing proper sales and service techniques
  • Provide customers with up to date advise and general knowledge of our Product and Environment.

Store Management/Operations


  • Replenish store floor with merchandise daily
  • Ensure all fixtures, prongs and shopfitting are fixed and the correct usage of equipment is adhered to
  • Ensure the successful operation of the store by closely following directive instructed by Store Management of FtN
  • Assist with product launches and sales within the Store in store environment
  • Keep store clean and tidy at all times
  • Unpack stock as per FtN procedure

Administration


  • Daily target sheet completed
  • Admin cross checks (credit, voids and cancellations)
  • Accurate stock taking procedures
  • IBT’s and stock control of all incoming and outgoing stock adhered to
  • Price maintenance

Job Specifications


Education

  • Matric or NQF equivalent
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Work Experience


  • 2-5 years Retail experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Communicate effectively in English
