About the Role Our client, a prominent family based in the affluent area of Sandton, Gauteng , is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Nanny and Early Learning Specialist. This full-time, live-out position is designed for an exceptional professional to provide comprehensive care and advanced educational stimulation for their two young children, aged 2 and 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the children's daily lives, including their routines, nutrition, safety, and educational development. This role requires a proactive approach to planning and implementing Montessori-inspired or similar early learning programs, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth. Key Responsibilities Provide top-tier childcare for two young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Design and implement a stimulating early learning curriculum, incorporating play-based learning and age-appropriate educational activities. Manage daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygiene. Prepare healthy, gourmet meals and snacks for the children, catering to any dietary requirements. Foster children's social-emotional development, encouraging positive interactions and conflict resolution. Maintain a pristine and organized environment in the children's play areas and bedrooms. Communicate consistently and effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, activities, and milestones. Organize and supervise outings to parks, libraries, and other enriching activities. Light housekeeping related to the children, such as laundry and tidying. Be a positive role model, demonstrating patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. Requirements A minimum of 7 years of professional childcare experience, with at least 3 years in a senior nanny or early learning specialist role. A relevant degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Demonstrated experience with implementing early learning philosophies (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia). Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Exceptional knowledge of child psychology and developmental milestones for toddlers and preschoolers. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to create structured and engaging educational programs. Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle. Proactive, discreet, and highly responsible individual.
