We are looking for a candidate with expertise in the management of legal matters in Group Fintech. This includes leading the creation of the Legal and Regulatory strategy in line with the overarching business goals.

As part of your portfolio as Senior Manager: Legal & Regulatory , you will be:

  • Responsible for the management of legal services and regulatory concerns across Group Fintech.
  • Responsible for managing complex multifunctional legal and regulatory matters, ensuring implementation of internal processes, policies and applicable laws and regulations, updating regulatory policies and legislative frameworks according to local requirements, and ensuring that in country Opco legal & regulatory functions receive the required support with high quality standards to guarantee legal & regulatory requirements are met
The incumbent must have the following:
  • Minimum of 4-year tertiary degree in Law, or related field
  • Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body as required
  • Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 5 years’ experience in legal and regulatory affairs management, telecommunications, Fintech product, and service management
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in executing legal and regulatory affairs strategies, policies, and frameworks in a scalable/large scale Fintech, Financial Services and/or Consumer Finance multi-country environment
What will give an edge to your application:
  • Master of Law, Master’s in Business Administration, or relevant Master’s degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory affairs across the Group Fintech Footprint
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, players, business models and industry related best practices
  • Experience in digital, ecommerce and electronic payment business is advantageous
