Are you a Senior Bookkeeper with solid Australian accounting experience who knows how to manage the numbers, stay on top of deadlines, and work confidently with small businesses?

We’re looking for a highly capable Senior Bookkeeper to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for an Australian business.

If you’re someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and confidently handle the books from start to finish, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records

  • Process transactions and perform bank and account reconciliations

  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare financial reports and accounting documentation

  • Provide end-to-end bookkeeping support to Australian small business clients

  • Ensure bookkeeping tasks are completed accurately and on time

  • Support compliance with relevant Australian accounting requirements

  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding financial information

  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Bookkeeper, or similar accounting professional

  • Strong Australian bookkeeping and accounting experience

  • Hands-on experience working with Australian small businesses or small business clients

  • Good understanding of Australian accounting practices and processes

  • Experience with relevant accounting/bookkeeping software

  • Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills

  • Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

This is a fully onsite position and requires regular onsite attendance.

Work-from-home is not part of the standard work arrangement. However, temporary WFH may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or other urgent situations, subject to management approval and business requirements.
