What You’ll Do
  • Perform various administrative functions to support the operations of the department
  • Maintain and manage diary appointments and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Control and organize e-mails and files received for efficient filing
  • Compile minutes during meetings to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Liaise professionally with relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration
  • Assist in general administration related to the core functions of the component or station
What You’ll Need
  • Competency in the core functions of the Secretary role
  • Proficiency in at least English and one other official language
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant courses in administration or related fields will be advantageous
  • General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities
  • A customer-focused attitude and willingness to work under pressure
