SATIC: ERP Finance – Senior Manager

PwC has recently launched the South African Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC), designed to innovate, build, and deploy solutions for our global clients across a range of technology and transformational needs. A Workday Finance Consultant at PwC SATIC will lead and support the Workday Finance team, bringing a strong finance background and deep expertise in ERP business processes. With proven experience in ERP implementations, this leader will oversee the, deployment of Workday Finance solutions

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead and support our Workday Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong finance background, an excellent understanding of ERP business processes, and proven experience in ERP implementations.

Qualifications / Certifications required:

Finance background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.Professional credentials: CA (SA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.ERP knowledge: Excellent understanding of finance ERP business processes.Leadership skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively.Communication skills: Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.

Experience required

5 - 7 years post articles in a similar environmentProven track record of participating in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle or WorkDay or similar platforms)Demonstrated success in streamlining finance operations and driving efficiency.Experience working with international delivery teams and managing cross-border projects.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams in finance technology environments.Strong project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery of ERP/finance transformation initiatives.History of influencing decision-making and enabling insight-driven finance functions.

Responsibilities of role

In this role, you will:

Lead the delivery of Workday Finance solutions.Drive initiatives that improve efficiency and strengthen finance operations for the clientsGuide and mentor teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Collaborate with integrated UK–SATIC delivery teams to ensure streamlined, insight-driven finance functions for global clients.

The successful candidates will be required to work the standard office hours of the UK office. During the training period, attendance in the office will be required on a daily basis.
