We are looking for a Sales Manager – South Africa to lead and accelerate sales growth across the SA market for I.P.P. The Sales Manager-South Africa will be responsible for developing the market, managing key accounts, and driving profitable growth for our flexible packaging solutions in South Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive sales growth across South Africa for I.P.P's flexible packaging portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a country-level sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers across food and non-food segments.
  • Manage and grow key accounts, building long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including pricing, negotiations, contract closure, and order generation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management.
  • Represent I.P.P in customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience in the flexible packaging industry.
  • Proven experience managing and growing sales within the South African market.
  • Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, structures, and applications.
  • Demonstrated success in key account management, negotiation, and closing complex deals.
  • Results-driven, commercially astute, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential.
