Sales Order Fulfilment Specialist - TEMP [REF 24665]

Introduction

Responsible for the day-to-day logistics functions and ensuring cost effectiveness and timely planning, monitoring and management of customer returns.

Duties & Responsibilities

Role Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Logistics Operations:

  • Planning, manage & coordinate the logistics returns process;
  • Communicate and co-ordinate with stakeholders on open customer returns;
  • Coordinate customer delivery bookings;
  • Deliver against departmental KPIs;
  • Manage customer complaints related to customer deliveries;

 

Logistics Returns:

  • Verify and assist with inspecting customer returns before being booked back into stock;
  • Work with the clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure that their logistics queries or complaints are met and closed out;

 

Process Improvement & Optimisation:

  • Participate in efforts to improve capabilities, process improvement and technology projects;
  • Develop and implementation of business practices that ensure optimal performance;
  • Be involved in ad-hoc analystical projects;
  • Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimisation through evaluation of data;

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in similar role (Advantageous)
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solving & attention to details
  • SAP ERP Experience (Advantageous);
  • Strong organisational and administration skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to exercise teamwork, time management and influence. 
  • Strong hands-on mentality throughout all activities and follow-through principles.
