Introduction

Our Client, a registered FSP, is looking for experience and outspoken Sales Consultants in Randburg to assist clients in finding the best insurance cover. We have partnered with more than 30 of SA’s leading insurers enabling us to provide you with the most affordable and reliable quotation. As a trusted broker, the client provides end to end service suite in terms of claims, benefits, cancellations, moving insurers, premium reviews etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Learning the products and services offered, including sales terms.
  • Achieving targets set for the sales department.
  • Find prospective customers and new target segments.
  • Dealer marketing – to get new business.
  • General admin when needed.
  • Communicating with pre-existing customers.
  • Provide top-notch customer service.
  • Will perform other duties including some clerical works when there is need to do so.
  • Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
  • Dialing car dealerships.
  • Marketing dealers – for new business – ask dealers for leads.
  • On-going dealer marketing – calling previous dealers.
  • Get clients from referrals – if there are no dealer leads.
  • Quote client if it is a lead:
  • On FSP
  • Affinity
  • Santam and or Discovery
  • Capturing the data.
  • Present the insurance options to the client.
  • Send for underwriting.
  • Charge admin fee.
  • Market the company where possible.
  • Reach set targets:
  • 1 minimum sale per day
  • 5 new dealers per day
  • 2 new leads
  • On going dialing for new business

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Grade 12 (Leanership opportunity available)
  • Experience in computer skills-proficiency in Excel
  • Any relevant qualification – advantageous
