Sales Consultant - Rest of Africa (Remote - JHB / CPT)

Introduction

THE OPPORTUNITY

Assisting with respective regional sales plans of existing products, technologies, and solutions within specific portfolios.  Contribute to maximising business growth and profitability for allocated region/s through the optimal selling of products/solutions built on credible customer relations and partnerships.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•             Execute planned sales activities and manage sales opportunities, including prospecting, quotations, presentations, follow-ups, and negotiations, by following the sales process to order fulfilment, to contribute to the achievement of team

objectives and targets.

•             Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs, identifying opportunities, and providing appropriate product and service solutions.

•             Maintain accurate sales administration by updating CRM records, preparing quotations, monitoring sales activities, and providing regular sales forecasts and reports.

•             Continuously develop product, industry, and competitor knowledge to confidently position solutions and effectively support customer requirements.

 

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

•             Degree or diploma in Surveying or equivalent.

•             Minimum of 1 to 2 years proven experience in relevant domain (Survey; GIS; Construction; Mining or Civil Engineering).  

•             Demonstrates the characteristics, passion, drive and resilience to build a successful career in sales, with a strong desire to achieve results.

•             Sales experience or training will be highly advantageous.

•             An advanced knowledge of related products & services.

•             Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & non-verbal).

•             Understanding of industry/ applications/ solutions/ customer requirements.

•             Understanding of sales best practices. 

•             IT proficiency (Microsoft office)

•             Valid unendorsed driver’s license and own transport.

•             Availability to travel and be prepared to be away from home on a regular basis.

Package & Remuneration

***Salary – Maximum CTC of R48,000 per month + commission (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
