RETAIL SALES BROKER (PRECIOUS METALS)

Somerset West: Our client, a well-established specialist retailer and broker within the precious metals industry, is seeking a dynamic and highly sales-driven Retail Sales Broker to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:  Driving sales of rare coins, gold coins and medallions through exceptional client service, relationship management and proactive business development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Selling rare coins, gold coins and medallions and consistently achieving sales targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Actively prospecting for new business through networking, referrals, research and database development
  • Identifying sales opportunities within existing client portfolios
  • Providing a consultative and relationship-based sales experience
  • Following up consistently with clients to develop long-term relationships and maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintaining strong product knowledge, including pricing, new products and relevant economic and market developments
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintaining excellent client service and presentation standards
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and completing required administration and compliance
  • Safeguarding stock and adhering to operational, security and compliance procedures

  • Proven sales track record, preferably within a high-value, luxury, financial or specialised product environment
  • Strong selling ability with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets
