Our client is seeking a highly analytical, intelligent South African lawyer to join a modern Texas-based firm for a unique strategic role. This is not a traditional law firm support role, it is designed for someone who enjoys deep legal thinking, continuous learning, problem solving, and develop long-term strategic approaches to complex legal matters. Work closely with US attorneys on active family law and estate matters, conducting legal research, analyzing difficult legal issues, preparing strategic memoranda, and participating in client interactions. This role is intended to evolve into a central strategic function within the firm and may eventually include leadership responsibilities. This is a rare opportunity to help build a next-generation legal strategy function within an AI-enabled law firm.
