Remote IT Support Specialist (US Hours/SA Night shift)

About the Role: As we expand our operations, we seek a talented and motivated Remote End-user support Technicians with expertise in Microsoft 365, Desktop, Cloud-based Infrastructure, and Virtualization to join our dynamic team

Responsibilities:

  • Migrate, Configure, and Deploy Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Migrations from on-prem server(s) to Microsoft 365 a plus
  • Deploy Desktop Solutions. Assist with software installations for the project teams. Knowledge of and experience with InTune deployments a plus
  • Setup and Administer Windows Server Infrastructure: Configure, Deploy and Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and related server administration tasks
  • Security: Implement appropriate measures to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of IT systems
  • Collaborate on IT Projects: Work closely with the IT team to support systems after deployment
  • Document IT Processes: Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in IT support roles with expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, desktop support, and server administration

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
  • Experience in supporting both Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation
  • Familiarity with managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS

  • MCSE Certification
  • Cisco or HP advanced Certifications
  • Azure Certified
  • VMWare Certified
  • Cyber Security Certifications (SANS, GIAC, etc)
  • Security Infrastructure Certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, PaloAlto, Juniper, F5, VMWare)
  • Security Management Certifications (CISSP, GIAC, Splunk, Arctic Wolf, Tenable)

To ensure optimal productivity in a remote work environment, candidates must have the following:

  • Dedicated Home Office – A quiet, private workspace with a door to minimize distractions
  • High-Speed Internet – Fibre connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps upload and download
  • Audio & Video Setup – Headset for clear communication and a webcam for video conferencing
  • Backup Power Solution – A reliable backup power source to maintain connectivity during outages
