Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Remote Internal Knowledgebase Article Creator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing, writing, and maintaining comprehensive and user-friendly internal knowledgebase articles that support our operational efficiency and employee development. As a remote member of our team, you will collaborate with various departments across Freda Rebecca Gold Mine, including operations, safety, HR, IT, and administrative services, to identify information gaps and transform complex technical, procedural, and policy information into clear, concise, and engaging articles. Your primary goal will be to empower our employees with easily accessible information, enabling them to perform their duties effectively, onboard new staff seamlessly, and troubleshoot issues independently.

This role requires an exceptional command of English, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to simplify intricate topics without losing crucial information. You will be responsible for structuring information logically, utilizing appropriate formatting, and ensuring consistency in tone and style across all content. We expect you to be proactive in identifying opportunities for new articles or improvements to existing ones, staying current with company policies, procedures, and technological updates. While working remotely, you will be an integral part of our team, participating in virtual meetings and collaborating through digital platforms to gather requirements and validate content. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit clear, concise, and comprehensive internal knowledgebase articles covering various topics including operational procedures, safety protocols, HR policies, IT solutions, and administrative guidelines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from different departments to gather accurate information and ensure content validity and technical accuracy.
  • Structure information logically, utilizing headings, bullet points, images, and other visual aids to enhance readability and comprehension.
  • Maintain a consistent tone, style, and terminology across all knowledgebase content, adhering to established brand guidelines.
  • Regularly review and update existing articles to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with the latest company policies and procedures.
  • Identify gaps in the existing knowledgebase and proactively propose new articles or content improvements.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure the knowledgebase platform is effectively utilized and content is easily discoverable.
  • Gather feedback from users to continuously improve the quality and usability of knowledgebase articles.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and other documentation as needed.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, content creation, or knowledge management.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and procedural information into easily understandable language.
