About the role

The Receptionist / Butler is responsible for welcoming and assisting guests and visitors at the office. The role provides professional and personalized service, handles guest inquiries and requests, and coordinates with the appropriate employees or departments to ensure a smooth and pleasant guest experience. The position serves as a primary point of contact for office guests and is expected to maintain a professional appearance, good communication, courtesy, and confidentiality at all times.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome and professionally receive guests and visitors

  • Identify the purpose of each visit and coordinate with the appropriate employee or department

  • Assist guests with inquiries, appointments, directions, and other reasonable requests

  • Notify concerned employees of their guest's arrival

  • Manage the reception area and ensure it remains clean, organized, and presentable

  • Handle incoming calls, messages, and basic inquiries professionally

  • Provide courteous and attentive assistance to guests, clients, executives, and other visitors

  • Anticipate and respond appropriately to guest needs

  • Maintain accurate records of visitors, guest requests, and related activities

  • Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, client, and visitor information

About you

  • Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field preferred

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in reception, guest relations, concierge, customer service, office reception, or a similar role

  • Experience handling clients, executives, VIPs, or corporate visitors is an advantage

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, presentable, courteous, and service-oriented

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple requests

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in standard office applications
