Property / Real Estate Researcher (Night-Shift, Remote)

Full-Time | Remote | South Africa

Patriot Holdings is growing our Acquisitions team, and we're looking for a Property Researcher to join us full-time.

You don't need to already know US commercial real estate. We can teach you our markets, systems, and strategy.

What we can't teach is pride in your work.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes initiative without waiting to be told every next step
  • Is naturally curious and enjoys figuring things out
  • Has exceptional attention to detail
  • Thinks critically instead of copying what they see
  • Can do detailed, sometimes tedious research without sacrificing accuracy
  • Takes ownership of their work from beginning to end
  • Notices when something doesn't make sense — and investigates it
  • Shows up consistently and gives 100%
  • Wants to become genuinely excellent at what they do

What you'll actually be doing

You'll work directly within our Acquisitions department, helping us research, qualify, and maintain real estate opportunities across the United States:

  • Researching properties and ownership information
  • Visually qualifying commercial properties against our investment criteria
  • Researching Mobile Home Parks and Small-Bay Industrial properties
  • Identifying whether properties fit our acquisition strategy
  • Verifying and correcting information in our database
  • Tracking down missing property and ownership information
  • Cleaning and maintaining our existing lead database
  • Flagging discrepancies rather than blindly accepting existing data

Database cleanup might sound simple. It isn't. Every property in our database is a potential investment opportunity — incorrectly removing, categorizing, or researching a lead could mean we never contact an owner we should have. Accuracy, judgment, and initiative matter here.

The role

  • 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM South African time
  • Monday – Friday
  • Remote
  • Full-time

This is a full-time position requiring full-time commitment during working hours. Our team works collaboratively, and meetings, training, and team sessions all take place in that window.

Growth

We're hiring to fill a specific need in Acquisitions right now, but we believe in developing great people. Someone who becomes exceptional in this role will have opportunities to learn far more about acquisitions, real estate, and the wider business over time.
