PROJECT-IN-CHARGE

We are seeking an experienced Project-In-Charge to join AQUADYSINC. This is a pivotal leadership position within our Project Management Division, based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As Project-In-Charge, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects (painting and waterproofing) from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role is essential to our operational success and directly impacts the delivery of high-quality construction solutions to our clients.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day project operations and ensure strict compliance with project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations

  • Manage project budgets, costs and financial controls, tracking expenditures and reporting variances to senior management

  • Coordinate and supervise all site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation and workforce management

  • Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across all project sites, conducting regular inspections and safety briefings

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to maintain strong communication and resolve issues promptly

  • Monitor project progress against timelines and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule

  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and ensure all work meets required standards and specifications

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and records

  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction and support to achieve project objectives

  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project-In-Charge or similar senior project management role in the construction industry

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices

  • Proven expertise in project scheduling, budget management and cost control

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities with experience engaging clients, contractors and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

  • Comprehensive understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements

  • Professional certification such as PMP, DASSAP or equivalent is highly desirable

  • Experience with similar-scale projects in the Philippines construction sector is advantageous
