Project Based Systems Engineer - Network

Perform installation/ deployment of router, switches, wireless access points, gateway security such as firewall/ next-generation firewall/ IPS, application delivery controller, network access control solutions, and related products.

Essential Job Function

  • Perform installation/ deployment of router, switches, wireless access points, firewall/ next-generation firewall/ IPS, application delivery controller, network access control solutions, network management software/ solutions, and related products. Including other products as may be assigned by management.

  • Provide telephone, e-mail and on-site technical support (whichever is most appropriate) on IT networking products, IT networking solutions and related hardware and software products. Including other products as may be assigned by management.

  • Prepare account technical reports and conduct account technical meetings.

  • Conduct product and technical sales presentations.

  • Responsible for conducting follow-up services or problem escalation (as needed).

  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress in the performance of work and in dealing with customers.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

  • At least 6 mos. to 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Required Skill(s): presentation skills, good oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, people skills, customer and interpersonal skills
