Role Purpose/Business Unit To own and drive the end-to-end performance of the Products & Solutions portfolio across the division, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, customer value, and lifecycle optimisation through data-driven insights, governance, and continuous performance improvement.

Lead the execution, tracking, and governance of sales and commercial performance metrics across the Products & Solutions portfolio. This role is directly responsible for safeguarding revenue integrity by aggressively identifying and mitigating revenue leakage, minimizing the issuance of commercial credit notes, and ensuring the absolute accuracy of customer billing systems. Additionally, the incumbent acts as a strategic enablement partner to the EHODs, providing deep operational oversight, tracking active pipelines, and driving conversion performance across their respective business units to ensure broader organizational profitability and growth.

Your Responsibilities Will Include Products & Solutions Performance Management

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the end-to-end performance and yield of active Products & Solutions within Vodacom Business.
  • Establish clear, data-driven performance baselines and commercial KPIs for the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales Specialists and Business Development Managers across the department to identify underperforming solutions and recommend commercial remediation or lifecycle interventions.
  • Consolidate portfolio metrics into executive dashboards to give the EHOD: Products & Solutions immediate visibility into financial health.
Billing Accuracy & Customer Experience Assurance
  • Validate and ensure that customer bills perfectly reflect complex, customized solutions and product configurations.
  • Conduct regular transactional audits on new and modified client accounts to verify accurate service configuration and billing trigger alignment.
  • Act as the departmental escalation point for high-value or chronic billing issues, driving rapid resolution to maintain above-industry Net Promoter Score (NPS) standards.
EHOD Pipeline Enablement & Governance
  • Provide specialized governance and analytical support to business unit EHODs to track, measure, and optimize active pipelines.
  • Facilitate disciplined sales/product cadence reviews, evaluating pipeline health, velocity, and closing probabilities.
  • Identify key operational bottlenecks preventing efficient pipeline-to-revenue conversion and drive inter-departmental resolutions.
  • Inform and assist in setting realistic, achievable annual business plan targets for lines of business based on conversion analytics.
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
  • Hold a relevant degree in Commerce, Business Management, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate business qualification (e.g., Honours, MBA) is highly desirable.
  • Professional certification in Revenue Assurance, Financial Management, or Business Analysis is an advantage.
  • +7 years of experience within a Telecoms, ICT, or technology-focused Enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record in Commercial Performance Management, Revenue Assurance, Financial Analyst, or Business Operations roles.
  • Extensive experience working with Enterprise pipelines, billing platforms, CRM systems, and financial metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience closely supporting and influencing senior executive leadership (EHOD/ME/Chief level).
Technical Competencies
  • Advanced Commercial & Financial Acumen: Exceptional numeracy with an innate understanding of product margins, revenue cycles, and leakages.
  • Revenue Assurance Expertise: Deep understanding of telecom/cloud/ICT billing lifecycles, billing triggers, and credit note reduction methodologies.
  • Pipeline Management & Analytics: Proficiency in pipeline tracking tools, conversion metrics, and predictive sales tracking forecasting.
  • Data Auditing & Reporting: Ability to synthesize raw financial and pipeline data into actionable executive insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Sophisticated relationship management skills to work across crossfunctional siloed teams (Sales, Finance, Product).
