Salary Range: $1,500 - $2,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Paralegal & Administrative Assistant to support a solo practitioner lawyer based in Orlando, Florida. This role is ideal for an experienced legal assistant with strong organizational skills, excellent English proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate will play a crucial role in streamlining legal operations, managing contracts, and optimizing administrative workflows.


Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Administrative Support: Assist with document drafting, proofreading, and contract management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Billing & Time Tracking: Enter billable hours into Clio and Bill4Time accurately and efficiently.

  • Client & Case Management: Organize and retrieve client meeting notes, maintain systematic records, and track case progress.

  • Task Prioritization & Scheduling: Manage daily schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure the lawyer stays on top of deadlines.

  • Document & Version Control: Maintain an organized system for contracts and legal documents, ensuring proper version tracking.

  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with clients, legal contacts, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

  • Software Utilization: Work proficiently with Clio, Bill4Time, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office to execute daily tasks efficiently.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in a paralegal or legal administrative role.

  • English Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread legal documents accurately.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and legal practice management software (Clio, Bill4Time preferred).

  • Typing Speed: Minimum 50 words per minute.

  • Time Zone Availability: Able to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours.

  • Bonus Skills: Trilingual proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory.
