Position: OUTBOUND SALES AGENT (APPOINTMENT SETTER)

Salary range: up to 14,000 South African Rand/month (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Working Hours: UK Business Hours (Monday–Friday)

Work set-up: 100% Remote work under Independent Contractor Agreement

In this pivotal remote role, you will conduct high-volume outbound calls to engage prospective customers, identify their energy-efficiency needs, and successfully secure qualified appointments for our UK-based field consultants. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in cold calling or appointment setting, possesses flawless English communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment where resilience and rapport-building are rewarded with lucrative conversion bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective UK customers using our dedicated cloud-based dialing system.
  • Introduce the company's premium product portfolio in a professional, engaging, and consultative manner.
  • Effectively qualify sales opportunities by identifying customer pain points regarding energy efficiency and insulation.
  • Consistently hit the performance target of securing a minimum of 2 confirmed bookings/appointments per day to be transferred to the UK field sales team.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records, ensuring all call notes, customer data, and dispositions are accurately logged.
  • Actively participate in regular training, continuous coaching sessions, and team alignment meetings.

  • Conversion Bonus: Opportunity to earn lucrative performance bonuses when your booked appointments successfully convert into completed sales by the UK team.
  • Daily outbound call volume and talk-time activity.
  • Adherence to compliance, call quality scripts, and professionalism standards.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of CRM updates.

Home Office & Technical Setup

To ensure seamless operations, candidates must possess the following infrastructure prior to onboarding:

  • Hardware: A reliable desktop or laptop computer with processing speeds suitable for uninterrupted business applications.
  • Connectivity: A dedicated, high-speed fibre broadband internet connection (with a backup solution) optimized for stable VoIP calling over Wi-Fi/Ethernet.
  • Peripherals: A high-quality USB headset equipped with a noise-cancelling microphone.
  • Environment: A quiet, professional, and isolated workspace entirely free from ambient background noise.

Requirements

Essential:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or appointment setting.
  • Dialer Proficiency: Experience with or a strong willingness to utilize Hostcomm, as this is the primary cloud-based predictive dialing platform used by the company to place outbound calls to the UK.
  • Communication: Flawless spoken and written English with a clear, professional, and accessible telephone manner.
  • Skills: Strong active listening, objection handling, and consultative negotiation skills.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, highly resilient, target-driven, and capable of working productively in a standalone remote environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Good computer literacy, with practical experience utilizing CRM systems and standard office suites (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
Desirable:
  • Prior experience targeting the UK residential or commercial B2C/B2B market.
  • Background or familiarity with the home improvement, construction, renewable energy, or insulation sectors.
