Operations Director - RoSSA

Description

Responsible for execution of all KFC South Africa Franchise and Equity sales in Restaurant and associated operations activities, designed to deliver continuous sales growth, revenue growth, and margin expansion (profit targets).

Drives the Operations strategy, executes a consistent customer experience across all the restaurants in RoSSA.

  • Deliver World Class Operations and Unmatched Operating Capability agenda across Equity & Franchise.
  • Lead continued progress in all elements of People Development, GES, ROCC, Operating Excellence and Sales & Profit Growth as well as Innovation and Continuous Improvement.
  • Ensure all restaurants operate with Brand Standards and drive a ‘one-system’ mindset.
  •  Develop and foster relationships with all key stakeholders in equity and franchise to fast track the Ops agenda
  • Continue to build a strong culture across field operations
  • Build operations capability in the business
  • Provide Operations ‘know-how’ across the South Africa system
  • Participate in RGM Annual Conference, Equity Stewardships, Field Visits, Business Reviews and other forums as required
  • Drive continuous improvement in fixed and variable restaurant and above store costs with an aim to continuously improve the business mode.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

•Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Engineering or related field.

•MBA or master's preferred.

EXPERIENCE

•Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior Operations/Sales Commercial position with direct accountability for sales, profit and people management essential

•Experience with retail, service and/or multi-outlet industry highly regarded.

•Must be able to demonstrate people development skills in achievement of results

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

•Sound understanding and knowledge of service department functions and ability to maximize same for Market.

•Ability to formulate and analyze financial data essential.

•Sound management, planning, directing, and leading skills.

•Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

•Previous experience with multi-national preferred

•High work ethic.
