We are expanding our teaching team for the 2026–2027 academic year and are looking for confident, adaptable and highly professional subject teachers who can deliver engaging online lessons and contribute positively to a fast-evolving international school.

- IGCSE
- A-Level
We are particularly interested in teachers with strong subject knowledge in areas including Mathematics, English, Sciences, Computer Science, Business, Economics and other academic subjects.
Important Qualification Requirement
This vacancy is for subject teachers.
TEFL/TESOL-only applicants will not be considered.
A TEFL or TESOL qualification on its own does not meet the requirements of this role.
Applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and demonstrate suitable academic subject knowledge and/or teaching experience for the subject and level they are applying to teach.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates may be expected to:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured live online lessons
- Prepare appropriate lesson resources and learning activities
- Adapt lessons to students' individual needs and levels
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress
- Communicate professionally with students, parents and colleagues
- Follow curriculum plans, schemes of work and school procedures
- Use learning management systems and other digital teaching platforms
- Use technology and AI appropriately to improve teaching effectiveness and efficiency
- Meet agreed deadlines for academic and administrative responsibilities
- Contribute to curriculum development, resources, training or student-support initiatives where required
- Adapt professionally as school systems and processes continue to develop
Teaching Levels
Depending on your qualifications, experience and subject expertise, you may teach one or more of the following:
- Primary
- Lower Secondary
- IGCSE
- A-Level
Applicants are not required to teach every level.
Mandatory Video Application
A video application is compulsory. Applications without the required Google Drive video link will not be progressed.
Your video should be approximately 3 minutes in total and must contain:
Part 1 – Introduction: approximately 30 seconds
Briefly tell us:
- Your name
- Your teaching subject(s)
- The levels you can teach
- A short summary of your teaching background
Part 2 – Teaching Demonstration: approximately 2 minutes
Teach a short section of a topic of your choice from your subject area as though you were teaching an online student.
We want to see how you:
- Explain concepts clearly
- Communicate with students
- Structure an explanation
- Demonstrate subject knowledge
- Engage an online learner
You do not need to create an elaborate presentation.
The purpose of the video is to see you teaching.
Video Requirements
Your video must:
- Include approximately 30 seconds of personal introduction
- Include approximately 2 minutes of actual teaching
- Show your face clearly
- Include your own voice and teaching
- Demonstrate an academic subject you are qualified or experienced to teach
- Be uploaded to Google Drive
- Have sharing permissions set so that anyone with the link can view
- Be submitted as a working Google Drive link in the application
Do not submit a written introduction instead of a video.
Do not submit slides without teaching.
Do not submit a TEFL/TESOL demonstration unless you are also appropriately qualified and applying to teach an academic subject required by IWS.
Applications without a valid and accessible Google Drive video link will not be reviewed.
Shortlisting Process
Applications will initially be reviewed based on:
- Qualifications
- Relevant subject knowledge
- Teaching experience
- Written application responses
- Mandatory video application
- Communication skills
- Suitability for online teaching
Candidates who successfully pass the initial screening stage may be invited to a formal interview and/or a longer live online demo lesson.

Compensation
- Competitive remuneration aligned with market benchmarks
- Compensation will depend on experience, subject demand, teaching allocation and level of responsibility

- Reliable internet connection and suitable remote-working environment
