Ensure compliance with legislative and governance requirements in the designated business areas. Execute the process to obtain environmental approvals for environmental authorization, waste, water usage, atmospheric emission licences and tree cutting permits. Perform environmental investigations. Monitor and implement Environmental Management Programme (EMPr) for operational and project sites. Conduct environmental inspections, audits, monitoring, and compliance assessments. Coordinate environmental reporting and maintain accurate environmental records and registers. Identify environmental risks and develop mitigation and corrective action measures. Support implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and sustainability initiatives within the organization. Facilitate sustainability reporting and monitor environmental performance indicators. Promote sustainable development principles and resource efficiency initiatives. Drive environmental awareness initiatives and campaigns within the organization and surrounding communities. Coordinate environmental education, greening, conservation, and community sustainability programmes.
