Office Co-ordinator

Are you an organised, customer focused professional who takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly? Join our Commercial team as an Office Coordinator in Benoni Leachville, where you'll manage the day to day running of the office while also driving sales and revenue as the first point of contact for walk in customers. 

This role is perfect for someone who takes initiative without being asked, enjoys engaging with people, and is just as comfortable closing a sale as they are keeping the office stocked, tidy and running like clockwork.

What you'll do:

  • Meet and exceed your monthly revenue target through walk in sales, community engagement and local canvassing
  • Generate leads, follow up promptly and log all sales activity accurately in the CRM
  • Support activations, flyer drops and local sales events as directed by your Commercial Manager
  • Take ownership of the day to day running of the office, including consumables, cleaning supplies and kitchen stock
  • Log and follow up on repairs and maintenance requirements through to resolution
  • Keep the office and reception area clean, neat and well presented at all times
  • Book boardrooms and meeting rooms as required
  • Serve as the first point of contact for walk in customers, greeting visitors professionally
  • Assist customers with account queries, first time issue resolution, payment assistance and sales sign ups
  • Escalate unresolved issues promptly and follow up to ensure resolution is completed
  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, taking and passing on messages accurately

What you'll need:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluency in English and the relevant local language(s) of the area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with customers and staff at all levels
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
  • Ability to take initiative without being asked and to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative work
  • Reliable, punctual and well presented
  • Driver's license is an advantage
