Mechanical Engineer - Facilities Management
About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and upgrade of HVAC, plumbing, and other building mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical building systems. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage capital projects for the upgrade or replacement of mechanical systems. Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair work. Analyze energy consumption and recommend strategies for efficiency improvements. Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on facilities management or building services. Knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics in an industrial or commercial context. Experience with building management systems (BMS) is advantageous.
