About the Role

Our client seeks a knowledgeable and patient Mathematics Tutor to support students in Grades 10-12 in Kimberley . This part-time role focuses on providing personalized academic assistance to help students grasp complex mathematical concepts and improve their performance. You will work with students individually or in small groups, adapting your teaching methods to meet their specific learning needs. This is an ideal opportunity for educators or high-achieving students passionate about mathematics and committed to fostering academic confidence in young learners within the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in mathematics for Grades 10-12. Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Help students develop problem-solving strategies and critical thinking skills. Review homework assignments and prepare students for tests and examinations. Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Adapt tutoring methods to suit individual learning styles and needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field (or current enrollment in such a program). Strong knowledge of the high school mathematics curriculum (Grades 10-12). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, reliability, and a passion for teaching. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.
