Job Requisition ID 12859 Closing Date 17 August 2026 OME Regional Ops and Asset Services Location Germiston, Gauteng Purpose of Job To support with the maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. To operate control devices and systems, and accurately and efficiently collect field data to ensure optimum productivity. Key Accountabilities <ul><li>Pipeline and customer station inspection including gas testing and reporting of deficiencies.</li><li>Vehicle custodian - pre-travel inspections, vehicle care</li><li>Driving 4 x 4, light delivery vehicles (LDV) and trucks (license required)</li><li>Assist, support and accompany artisans to ensure safe executions of the tasks.</li><li>Ensure that housekeeping is always adhered to.</li><li>Ensure that tools are correctly packed and always kept in safe and well controlled area.</li><li> Ensure safe and correct use of hand tools and other workshop equipment.</li><li>Prepare and arrange tools required to execute different task as instructed by artisan.</li><li>Assist with installation and removal of machine components.</li><li>Identify and ensure correct oil or lubricant for services.</li><li>Land owner liaison.</li><li>Good customer relations. </li></ul>Formal Education <ul><li>Grade 12 with Maths English & Science or N3 with Maths & Engineering Science</li><li>NQF Level 2 Occupational Qualification</li><li>Driver’s license Code C1 (old Code 10) </li></ul>Working Experience 1 -2 years of relevant experience in the field Required Personal And Professional Skills BC_Communicates Effectively BC_Manages Complexity TC_Analyse Alternatives and Recommend Solutions TC_Troubleshoots Technical Issues TC_Equipment Utilisation BC_Decision Quality BC_Action Oriented TC_Planning and Organisation BC_Ensures Accountability TC_Engineering Implementation Sasol is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
