About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Local Delivery Driver for a full-time position based in Soweto . This role is integral to our company's customer service promise, ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and safely to our clients within the local community. You will be responsible for operating a company vehicle, managing delivery schedules, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism on the road. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Gauteng area, possesses excellent driving skills, and is committed to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities Execute timely and safe deliveries of products to customers in the Soweto region and surrounding areas. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and security of packages. Follow assigned daily routes and schedules, reporting any deviations or delays. Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle, maintaining cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs. Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience. Requirements Valid driver's license (e.g., Code 10) and a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable. Good knowledge of the roads and traffic patterns in Soweto and Gauteng .
