Job Purpose

This position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre, and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Telesales.

Key purpose

To achieve targets that will grow Discovery Gap. Build the brand and ensure that clients engage our range of products and benefits and experience our shared value offering and get clients to be healthier.

The successful individual will be required to perform on, but not limited to the following key outputs:

Consistently achieve monthly sales and activations target set by the business Communication to members telephonically and email Attending to general administration Conduct financial needs analysis Meet all Quality and Compliance requirements Overcome objections

Personal attributes and skills

The successful individual will be required to demonstrate the following competencies: Target Driven Team Player Goal orientated Self-motivated Ability to perform under pressure Adapt to change Self-managed Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge Speak fluently (accent neutral) English/Afrikaans PC literacy, email, word, excel

Qualification & Experience

Matric At least 1- 2-years sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment Minimum 1 year health product knowledge, Discovery Health Knowledge is an advantage Tertiary qualification would be an added advantage NQF level 5 and RE5 qualification
