About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Junior Legal Assistant to support their legal team remotely, contributing to various administrative and paralegal tasks. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing case files, evidence, and discovery documents. Conduct preliminary legal research using online databases and library resources. Draft routine legal documents such as affidavits, notices, and correspondence under supervision. Schedule appointments, court dates, and client meetings, managing calendars effectively. Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties to gather information and provide updates. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry. Requirements A relevant diploma or certificate in Paralegal Studies, Legal Secretarial, or a related field. Basic understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and ethics. Proficiency in using legal research tools and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills.
