We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Junior IT Data Analyst. In this position, you will play a crucial role to support our vision of becoming a Great place to work for all.

Role Outline

Support to implement Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Analytics plans to identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs and provide data that is accurate, congruent, reliable and in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business intelligence data from various sources to inform business and product decisions.
  • Manage internal and external data sets and conduct respective management reporting.
  • Research operational issues and ensure the application of Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics to enhance business decision-making capabilities.
  • Track escalated issues from operations and coordinate with other stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in monitoring daily trends to identify patterns in recorded data and support the development of predictive, real-time model-based insights for decision-making.
  • Communicate information effectively to senior management, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Implement best practices for BI, data warehousing, and data governance, providing inputs affecting the functional area of responsibility.
  • Provide input on standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of BI tools and systems.
  • Support and develop IT digitalization projects, resulting in cost reductions and business improvements.
  • Assist in implementing policies and procedures for collating and analysing data, developing new data analysis processes, and assessing analytics on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications & Experience
  • University Degree Level is essential.
  • More than 2 years of Project Data Analytics experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project / JIRA / Project Place and MS SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Azure, Python, PowerBI).
  • Stakeholder Management.

Other Requirements
  • Work independently with general supervision.
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehouse, and transport activities.
  • Support end-users on digitalization projects by preparing flow documentation and user manuals.
  • Assist in all operational process improvements in both warehouse and transport.
  • Create comprehensive project and end-user documentation.
  • Identify process improvements in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transport Management System).
