Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Translating video game-related materials from Japanese to FIGS.
  • Proofreading translations to ensure accuracy and localisation quality.
  • Collaborating with in-house professionals and project coordinators.
  • Translating or proofreading from English as required.
  • Adapting content to align with local culture and preferences.
  • Managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - The Skills You\'ll Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience in translation/localisation, especially in the gaming industry.
  • Native-level proficiency in FIGS languages with cultural expertise.
  • Ability to use technical translation tools and adapt to new software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Professional experience in translating/proofreading video games from Japanese to FIGS (French, Italian, German, Spanish).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
