This client-facing role focuses on identifying business needs, recommending tailored IT solutions, and supporting the sales process from discovery through to implementation. You will work closely with both commercial and technical teams to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity, and support digital transformation initiatives. The role also offers the opportunity to manage an existing client portfolio while contributing to the growth of recurring managed services revenue. Key Responsibilities Engage with clients to identify IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity requirements. Conduct site assessments and solution discovery sessions. Design and recommend solutions across managed IT services, networking, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity. Prepare proposals, solution designs, and costings. Deliver professional solution presentations and support the sales team during the closing process. Grow managed services revenue through strategic client engagement. Manage and develop relationships within an existing Port Elizabeth client portfolio. Job Experience and Skills Required Relevant IT qualification or certification. Experience in IT pre-sales, managed services, IT sales, or a similar solutions-focused environment. Strong understanding of networking, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, server technologies, and cybersecurity fundamentals. Experience working with cloud and security solutions will be advantageous. Exposure to technologies such as Sophos, MikroTik, Reyee, or Ruijie is beneficial. Strong communication and presentation abilities.
