Job Description:

  • Consistently manage and grow weekly sales orders from assigned accounts through phone calls, online communication, and occasional field visits.
  • Regularly engage with clients via phone, email, and occasional in-person visits to assess needs, manage inventory, enhance sales through upselling/cross-selling, promote trials/samples, and maintain promotion awareness.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of product offerings to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Assist the collections team in securing timely payments from accounts, including necessary follow-ups.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with grocery and restaurant clients, advising on product selections and order processes.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, logging and tracking significant concerns for resolution.
  • Coordinate with the local warehouse supervisor to complete order fulfillment and support local customer pick-ups.
  • Troubleshoot fulfillment issues in Odoo ERP, WMS system (similar to Netsuite).
  • Create invoices, receive, process, and post incoming payments.
  • Resolve client billing questions and concerns.
  • Reconcile invoices and payments for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain follow-ups based on aging receivables for each assigned account.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities to increase market share and wallet size.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors, providing regular insights and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the business strategy team to implement sales insights in daily account management.
  • Participate in both virtual and occasional field marketing activities, product demos, and industry events to penetrate new markets.
  • Engage in cold calling, email campaigns, and occasional in-person visits to generate new client leads.
  • Provide management with reports on customer needs, potential new products or services, and competitive activities.
  • Assist customers in adopting new technologies and e-commerce platforms.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or distribution.
  • Bilingual in English and Hindi; additional South Asian languages a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
