Are you the person people call when technology stops working and you know exactly how to fix it?

IT By Design is looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our Internal IT team and support employees across a fast-moving global organization.

This is more than a ticket-resolution role. You'll work across end-user support, systems, networks, security, hardware and IT operations, helping keep our people productive and our technology running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Provide hands-on Level 1/2 IT support to internal employees.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems and network issues.

Set up and configure laptops, workstations, applications and user access.

Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP.

Manage user accounts, permissions and access.

Maintain IT assets, systems and documentation.

Work with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

Support backups, recovery and cybersecurity initiatives.

Monitor system health and perform regular maintenance and updates.

Create knowledge-based articles and IT procedures.

Train employees on technology and security best practices.

Support IT projects, upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in IT Support, Systems Administration or IT Operations.

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS.

Hands‑on troubleshooting experience with hardware and networks.

Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange.

Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and VPNs.

Strong communication skills, you can explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical users.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to prioritize, work independently and take ownership.

Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
